About the Founder:

Joseph Dawala Hutchinson was born in Hartford, Grand Bassa County to Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan L. Hutchinson, on April 19, XXXX. He was raised in Monrovia, where he began his formal education at the Edward Edwin Barclay Elementary School.  Because his family maintained roots in both Monrovia and Grand Bassa County, Joe later returned to Grand Bassa and enrolled at the WPL Brumskine United Methodist Junior High School in Buchanan.

Soon after completing his middle school education in Buchanan, Joe returned to Monrovia and attended William V. S. Tubman High School.  By the time he left Tubman High, Joe had developed a strong appetite for technical education.  Consequently, he moved on to Monrovia Vocational Training Center where, unsurprisingly, he excelled in the electronics curriculum.

He then entered the professional world as an electronic communications specialist. Hard work and enthusiasm paid off for him and in 1985, Joe Hutchinson became the CEO of The Buchanan Broadcasting Station in Buchanan.   As a testimony to his competence, he was named studio director for the Liberian Rural Communication Network organized by Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

Joe has broadened his interest and knowledge by obtaining an Electronic Engineering Technology Degree from Devry University.

He is employed with Kraft Foods Global as a packaging technical advisor. However, his passion is the technical management of his brainchild, AfricaTV One.  Joe is also an avid photographer and a slave to anything having to do with electronic communications.

He is happily married to the former Lydia Karnga and their union is blessed with five beautiful children.
